When do you arrange payment?

Should I dispose of my log book since the car’s being scrapped?

No – don’t throw it away. As the current keeper of the car, it’s your responsibility to inform the DVLA of any changes to the vehicle’s ownership record. You can do this quickly and easily by completing section 9 of the log book – before sending it off to the DVLA address on the rear. If you’re not sure about any part of the log book process, our collection driver will be more than happy to assist.
