Can I keep my private registration if I sell my car?
Description
Yes. Your valuation will not include the personalised registration that’s on the car – so, if you want to keep it, you should remove it using the DVLA’s service before collection. The quickest way to remove the plate from the car is using the dedicated online service – but you can request that the relevant forms are sent to you too. When removed from the car, you’ll be able to keep your number plate for use on another vehicle.
